The Trust Project Biography
The Trust Project was formed out of a desire to reach the lonely and hurting via good music, and guenuiness. Building on the theme of Real Music for Real Life, The Trust Project aims to give tangible help to those who are beaten down by the patt answers and nifty little clitches that have gone from key biblical truths, to watered down christian lingo. We are surrounded by a culture that lives in a false reality, scared to let anyone see that we are all frail, and in need. The church has become consumed with this false pretense as well. We have been stifled into silencing the real issues out of fear of rejection. There is a lack of grace and mercy and an abundance of gossip and ridicule. Put in this cage by our own shame, or by the scorn of others, we put on a happy face to the world, and crawl into a hole when we are alone. It is our desire to shed light on these real issues, and by doing so, bring hope where there is none. Our songs portray who we are and what we go thru. We hope that our listeners are encouraged by our openness and choose to face there hurts and challenges, rather than try to cover them up and move on.
We don't have all the answers, but Jesus gave us a mission: to love the Lord your God with all your heart, and to love others as yourselves. All we know is that there are a lot of hurting people who feel like they have no place to go, and God has called us to reach out to them.
