How Can We Be Silent (2007)

Debuting in 2004, BarlowGirl took the Christian music world by storm with their self-titled freshman release and follow-up sophomore project entitled Another Journal Entry. Between the two albums, the trio received gold status, garnered nine GMA award nominations, and scored four #1 hit radio singles (including "I Need You To Love Me" which made a new record on the Christian Radio & Retail Weekly’s CHR chart by holding the #1 spot for thirteen consecutive weeks). On top of that, the band landed a spot on Yahoo! Music’s "Who’s Next?" series in 2006 and gained much mainstream buzz. Yet, these three sisters remained outspoken for their faith and continued to minister to countless young people through the exposure they received. .

Another Journal Entry (2005)

BarlowGirl is back with their sophomore release “Another Journal Entry.” BarlowGirl changed their style since their debut release “BarlowGirl (Self Titled).” They went with more rock than pop in this album. BarlowGirl did cover two worship songs, and had Todd Agnew do some background vocals. .

BarlowGirl Profile

About:

In 1984, a modern day philosopher woke up the world with a simple statement—We are living in a material world, and I am a material girl. Over 20 years later, the statement still rings true, even though the well-known singer of that lyric is now a mother of two.
