They have made music for the past fourteen years, recorded ten albums together, co-lead an album with the world-renowned Hillsong Church, contributed to over a dozen compilation CDs, participated in countless tours, played in twenty-three countries, and have become known around the world for their live performances. Veteran rock/worship band Delirious? is back to make history with their first full-length, live CD/DVD, Now Is The Time: Live at Willow Creek, Chicago, USA. Recorded and filmed on June 13, 2006, at Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago, Illinois, Delirious? lead over five thousand people in a time of triumphant praise and worship. With their voices raised and the band at full-throttle, they joined in unison to bring forth a beautiful collection of old Delirious? classics as well as new fan-favorites. The CD itself spans a period of nearly eighty minutes while the DVD covers over three hours of fresh material. Both parts of this package truly catch a glimpse of the magnificent performances Delirious? delivers night after night.
From the infectious anthems of “Here I Am Send Me” and “Paint The Town Red” to the glorious melodies of “Our God Reigns” and “Miracle Maker,” Delirious? brought their audience of five thousand through every single word and every single beat. Utilizing the crowd’s participation, lead singer, Martin Smith, lead the people as one choir to create much of the atmosphere of that night. In songs such as “Rain Down” to the title track, “Now Is The Time,” the congregation of worshipers sang along to every song as if it were their own. This CD/DVD beyond a doubt captured an amazing night and a priceless piece of Delirious? history.
