Scattered Pieces: Live (2007)
Scattered Pieces: Live is Shawn McDonald’s second live album in his relatively short music career as a signed soloist. It’s often rare for an artist to release one live album, let alone two, but it works for McDonald! He has such an amazing voice and live presence that he could make 10 more live albums and I still wouldn’t be sick of the in-concert feel.

Ripen (2006)
Sparrow Records artist Shawn McDonald is back with his third release titled Ripen. After the success of his radio hit “Take My Hand” from his debut album Simply Nothing, Shawn came out with a live album titled Live in Seattle. Both albums were great, even though Live in Seattle had most of the same songs from Simply Nothing along with a couple new songs that are now on Ripen. Shawn still has the same acoustic pop/folk style he had on Simply Nothing, but in Ripen Shawn slowed his music down a notch, and he focuses more on lyrics and vocals than both of his debut and sophomore releases.
