John Reuben Album Reviews Hip Hop / Rap - Gotee

Word of Mouth (2007)
Christian Hip Hopper John Reuben is back with Word of Mouth, probably John Reuben’s best work yet! With catchy lyrics, edgy beats, interesting effect usage, and a new vocal style for John Reuben I find Word of Mouth very pleasing. I’m typically not a fan of Hip Hop, but Word of Mouth is an album that I’m comfortable listening to.

The Boy vs. The Cynic (2005)
Years after Gotee recording artist John Reuben released, Professional Rapper, he comes out with his brand new CD titled The Boy vs. the Cynic. Throughout all the songs he talks about corruption in the U.S. and about how much we need God and how a lot of people will try and tell you otherwise. He also talks about how we should be thankful for everything god gives us.

ARTIST INFORMATION
About:
With a catalogue of creativity, and a knack for taking unexpected risks, Reuben has become predictable in only one area: unpredictability. Many try to accomplish the delicate balance between indefinable sonics and pop appeal, and very few are successful.
