Album Review: Go | Remixed by Newsboys

Go | Remixed (2007)

Trippy is a word that comes to my mind when trying to explain the newsboys’ latest project Go | Remixed. Focusing mainly on drums, special effects and vocals, this remix could be considered a great album by those into a pop-like techno vibe. While most of the remix blends together quite well, some of the tracks do stand out a little more and just don’t fit in as well. .

The crowd was a mixture of cultures, races and creeds, from Buddhists to Muslims to Jews - anything but the typical newsboys audience. One might think that a band in this position would feel intimidated to the point of faltering...
