Album Review: Let It Snow Baby...Let It Reindeer by Relient K

Let It Snow Baby...Let It Reindeer (2007)

Deck the Halls, Bruise Your Hand was a highly acclaimed Christmas release. Packaged with the record that helped Relient K define themselves, Two Lefts Don’t Make a Right… But Three Do. Four years later the boys decided to record six new tracks, and re-release the album, with a new title and 17 Christmas-time wonders, and call it, Let it Snow Baby…Let it Reindeer. .

Album Review: Five Score and Seven Years Ago by Relient K

Five Score and Seven Years Ago (2007)

Mmhmm, it’s true. After 2004’s hit release Mmhmm, that gave Relient K their third consecutive gold release, the band brings out Five Score and Seven Years Ago, the most mature songwriting we’ve seen from Matt Thiessen and the band to date. Not only are the lyrics very strong, but the band leads us into what could be some of the best music that we’ve heard from Relient K to date. .

ARTIST INFORMATION

Relient K Profile

About:

With Five Score And Seven Years Ago – Relient K’s fifth album in seven years and the follow up to 2004’s mmhmm, the band’s third consecutive Gold album – some are bound to ask, has the pop-punk band, ahem, matured a bit? Well, yes – sort of. While the new album isn’t chockfull of their characteristic puns and concludes with an 11-minute, 115-track tour de force entitled “Deathbed,” rest assured, Relient K has not lost its quirky sense of humor.
