Phil Wickham Album Reviews Worship / Acoustic / Pop - INO Records

Cannons (2007)
Last year, Phil Wickham emerged from typical youth group worship leader to nationally known worship artist. Debuting a self-titled album on INO Records and a voice that is to say the least a God-given talent. Expressing a unique vibrato vocal style, something that isn’t common in today’s worship scene, was something quite refreshing. The only drawback in my book was that most of the songs were slower than I wwould prefer. Something that Phil has definitely improved in his stellar sophomore release entitled, Cannons.

Phil Wickham (2006)
If passion is contagious and purity in worship life changing, then Phil Wickham has gone beyond merely release an album. His music is inspiring, honest, and created with a heart seeking after God. It’s perfect for relaxing, meditating on Scripture, or flat out worshipping the Creator. Born as a pastor’s son, he was immersed in the Bible while young and was constantly at church. He became a worship leader while in his teens and soon after that he began writing his own songs.
